Kevin Mitchell was a former Washington Redskin line backer and a Super Bowl Champion with the San Francisco 49ers. He was a huge impact in our community. Kevin touched so many lives and continues to impact those lives today. Story after story about Kevin Mitchell and how he enjoyed training, teaching and those kids are now in middle school, high school, and adults continue to remember him and miss him. Kevin Mitchell was a bigger impact then some could even imagine. In April 2007 Kevin Mitchell passed away at an early age, he was 36. We lost a great friend, brother, and mentor. One way we can keep his vision and mission alive is to offer a $1000.00 scholarship each year to a young athlete who empowers the same attributes and shows True Commitment, Integrity, Dedication, Discipline and Hard Work as Kevin did on and off the field.
